This award-winning digital agency and apps business made up of talented, driven digital enthusiasts based in the silicon roundabout.

You will have a proven record of collaborative working with other developers and be able to lead a team both in the context of a project and the longer-term technical strategy of the Agency. You will also be working closely with the design and project management teams so you should feel confident working with non-technical colleagues to come up with creative solutions. You love to innovate but don't lose sight of the fundamentals of website production; namely clean, functional, accessible, cross-browser compliant code.
As much as you will be a passionate server-side programmer you will also be a highly proficient at front-end development with skills in CSS and JavaScript (hand-coding as well as JQuery) and you will take real pride in what you produce.
Most importantly, you will want to work in and contribute heavily to a motivated, committed, fun team striving to produce awesome results for clients who we care about and will never, ever stop learning.
You will need… * 6 or more years experience in a UK Digital Agency working with brands
* Primary development experience working with PHP
* Fluent CSS & JavaScript front end work
* Advanced knowledge of Web Standards, Accessibility Standards & browser compatibility
* Team leading skills and experience mentoring of junior developers
* An innovative, 'can-do' attitude
* Good communication skills - to present your point of view & back yourself
* Design appreciation. You will challenge and collaborate with the Design Team
* Real attention to detail
* An understanding & on-going awareness of commercial & marketing goals of projects
* Experience in the demands of deadline-driven work
* To show examples of technically challenging & well executed work for brands
* An understanding of the importance of User Experience & User Interface with examples of where you have implemented this understanding
* A real passion for the Web & to be in touch with current technical innovation
* A sense of humour
* To be able to drive technical strategy & direction for the company going forward
